Scott B. of By Common Consent writes that Equality California, the largest group challenging the passage of California Proposition 8, has announced that it will not attempt a new challenge to the law until 2012.
Hunter’s Query, the blog of the BYU Law School Library, notes that BYU Law prof James D. Gordon III was featured in an article in preLaw Magazine about religiously affiliated law schools. Professor Gordon is quoted as saying, “For many people, attending a law school where they don’t have to check their convictions at the door can be very liberating.”
Clint Dunaway of Mormon Lawyers reports that an LDS chapel in Grand Junction, Colorado was broken into and vandalized.
